Considered following everyone else's cue and doing the lj year recap. Then realized that I didn't use lj for a good part of the year and that I would have an insufficent amount of months. So instead I shall copy O'Kraw and do the Top 10 music list.

1. Amsterdam - Guster
2. Such Great Heights - The Postal Service
3. Two Step - Dave Matthews Band
4. Take Cover - Acceptance
5. Sleeping In - The Postal Service
6. Jesu, Joy of Man's Desire - Windham Hill
7. Don't Phunk With My Heart - Black Eyed Peas
8. Careful - Guster
9. Satellite - Dave Matthews Band
10. Tango To Evora - Loreena McKennitt

'fraid the list is slightly biased, since most of those artists/songs are the one's I've had on computer the longest.

In other news, I haven't seen my roommate since 3 AM last night when she went to Steak and Shake. I have absolutely no idea where she is, though I do know that she's alive.

Had a run-in with a non-english-speaking Chinese delivery man last night. Had to explain that we didn't have the cash (not my fault! Soooo the roomie's) and that I had to pay with a credit card. It was basically a 5-minute span of awkwardness that ended with me talking to his boss on his cell-phone.

The French professor is alive, for all of you who were terribly concerned. And on the plus side, we don't have to do the in-class essay anymore since there's no time left in the semester.

Walked a mile and a half to my professor's house for class tonight. It was near dusk, and the prospect of walking back alone in the dark had me looking into the ravines and creeks on either side of the road and wondering which one I would end up in after being mugged or what have you. Luckily got a ride back to my dorm and am still alive, obviously. Being in the small class atmosphere made me realize even more that I will probably fit in better at a small school. Well, it's not actually "fitting in better," more of a getting the most out of classes.

If it isn't already obvious by my lack of comprehendibility, I haven't slept well the past couple of nights. I can't wait for the semester to be over so I can go home and play nurse for the mother and mother for the family. Will feel much better once Tuesday is over with. Very impatient right now....

I think I may have killed my French professor.

I had an in-class essay scheduled for today and was thus dreading class; so last night I pondered the fact that my French prof. was the only one who had never canceled a class and I then wished for him to do so. I walk into class today to be told by one of my fellow classmates that Chosson was sick and that class was canceled.

If he dies from a horrible cold, I shall be the one responsible. Therefore, I may have murdered my professor. Only time will be able to reveal my guilty/not guilty status.

Warning. There's three pages worth...and they're not all in focus (I blame the broken camera)

One of the most amusing parts of tonight.... For their final encore, Guster comes out dressed as a missing person milk carton, a man-eating shark, a hotdog, and a giant chicken and plays acoustic.

It's official I'm transferring. Now to decide when. If I had my way I would transfer for the spring semester, but there's so much to take into consideration. And I have to fight my dad...it's going to be loads of fun.

Last week a normal (and therefore dull) economics lecture was briefly interrupted by what would become my first stereotypically random college experience. A kid on a bike wearing a football helmet suddenly appeared from the back, rode down the angled aisle of the lecture hall all the while yelling, "Which way the the Candy Path?!" and slammed into the metal doors which lead to the outside. From behind the door he could be heard to whimper and "oww..." The teacher, following her usual boring stance, merely paused for a moment before returning to her lecture. Needless to say, I was highly amused.

The weather is finally turning fall-ish here. I hope it's the same for all of you up north...or east...west....where ever you all are! Played P&P on my laptop last night, but didn't actually watch it. Just used it as background noise for studying, and it was oddly helpful.

Is anyone else's library massively confusing in it's method of organizing the fiction section?

Got back to school at 9:25 this morning, trudged back to the dorm, changed clothes, downed a Starbuck's Espresso Double Shot, and then proceeded to Ancient World and French. I'm certain that my professors think that I'm on something due to the way I must have looked this morning. Slept and studied for most of the day until this evening.
Of course the night that I have an evening exam (8:00 PM) there is a huge thunderstorm. So I swam to the auditorium where the test was being administered, which is conviently located about ten minutes from my dorm, jumping at the constant booming of the thunder and lightening. On the way back I couldn't see in front of me...and at one point I lost my shoe in one of the rivers that had formed in the street. My clothes are currently forming puddles on the floor of my room as they hang from the drying rack that I thought I'd never use. Oddly enough, I enjoyed the whole drowning incident. Hmmm...need to sleep....

Thought I'd actually make a post to say hello to all you peoples who haven't been online...so...Hi. Is it just me, or does everyone feel overwhelmed by the amount of reading that they actually expect us to do? I need to have a little roommate rant, so here it goes...

I'm sick and tired of listening to japanese anime play from her computer at 4 am. She's currently humming loudly without any sort of tune. Her piles of clothes, both clean and dirty, overwhelm one corner of the room. The pile of plastic shopping bags, books, folders, candy wrappers, and pieces of paper are slowly but surely leading a charge from her desk to mine. It makes the room look like a tornado had its way with it. A bra of hers has been sitting atop the dresser for the past week, draped across her PS2 and millions of wires that go with it. There's half-empty coke cans and a paper cup filled with fruit punch that has leaked on the top of the dresser and spread towards her console. I have the urge to pick everything up, but I know that if I do I'll always be the one in charge of cleaning up her messes. And it's disgusting to watch her eat. She's currently chomping on a wad of Dubble Bubble gum, and I'm currently trying to ignore the constant smacking of her lips...

On a more amusing note, I woke up late today and was therefore too late to go to my Stats lecture. So instead I went down to eat breakfast. Came back up to my room, and since I had absolutely nothing to do for the 25minutes before my economics lecture, I lay down on my bed to try and think of something meaningful to do. I must have been thinking really hard seeing that I feel asleep until lunch time. I'm glad to say that I at least made my Psychology Lecture. You should all be proud.
